The coastline of south-west Turkey, where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean Sea, is a paradise for sea kayakers: steep rugged cliffs, deserted sandy bays, deep clear pools, hidden coves and fascinating islands, not to mention a huge variety of sea life and sea birds. The coastline is dotted with ruined castles and cities. Yet despite its beauty, this coast is rarely visited outside the tourist resorts. And of course the climate makes our area even more attractive for paddling – hot, settled, sunny weather for much of the year, and a relatively warm sea.
