Sea Kayaking
The coastline of south-west Turkey, where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean Sea, is a paradise for sea kayakers: steep rugged cliffs, deserted sandy bays, deep clear pools, hidden coves and fascinating islands, not to mention a huge variety of sea life and sea birds. The coastline is dotted with ruined castles and cities. Yet despite its beauty, this coast is rarely visited outside the tourist resorts. And of course the climate makes our area even more attractive for paddling hot, settled, sunny weather for much of the year, and a relatively warm sea.
Alternatif Outdoor was the first to introduce sea kayaking to this part of Turkey and we have been running paddling trips here since 1998. We insist on using high-quality, well-maintained equipment and experienced English-speaking guides.
Experienced paddlers also have the option of renting kayaks and gear for an independent trip.
