River Kayak Rentals and Logistic Support

We have the following equipment available for rental:

• White-water Kayaks: various models
• Minibus - 14 seats (with driver and trailer)
• Inflatable kayaks and rafts
• Paddles, helmets, lifejackets, wet-suits
• Tents and camp cooking equipment

Accommodation Possibilities:

1. Camping by the riverside (generally no legal restrictions) - free!
2. Village house accommodation (basic, with heating and hot water). Meals can be provided by a village family.
3. Pension or hotel - this is only possible near towns or tourist resorts.

Just got back from our tour of Turkish rivers and I’m just dropping you a couple of lines to say thanks.  We had an excellent time.  The paddling was amazing, as was the time we spent off the rivers.  Everyone in the group has come back saying that the trip was one of the best, if not THE best paddling holiday they’ve been on.  That’s quite an achievement considering most of us have paddled fairly extensively around various parts of the world.  Our driver went out of his way to make sure that things went smoothly for us.  The whole time we felt he was looing after us like friends rather than paying customers.  He also made sure that we got as much of a feel for the real Turkey as possible.  Also your guides and helpers at the Dalaman base were super friendly and incredibly welcoming.  Thanks for putting the whole thing together.  The itinerary was spot on for what we wanted.  The rivers that you sent us to were absolutely brilliant.  Also the places we visited were super cool.  Thanks again, without Alternatif the trip would have been next to impossible.

Flying to Turkey:

1. Turkish Airlines and most other European airlines have daily flights to Istanbul.
2. During the summer season (April to October) there are frequent charter flights from various European airports direct to Antalya, Dalaman and Izmir. Charter flights are often very reasonably priced.
3. Turkish Airlines has regular daily flights, connecting with international flights, to all major internal airports in Turkey, including Dalaman, Antalya, Adana and Erzurum.
